Cookies!!!

This post is more for my remembrance, than for ya'll. :) This Christmas, we did cookies for Brian's staff, the church staff, and a few sweet friends. I did a large Christmas tree with the family name, then smaller trees with each family members name. A little baggie of snowflakes...I added more detail after this picture was taking -- it needed some TLC. The 'JOY' cookies weren't how I wanted them, but turned out cute... PTL!

Thanks M for helping me with these -- all the texts, emails, advice, support...I sincerely/seriously couldn't and wouldn't have done this without you!

Youth Christmas Party

We had a fun party for the youth group... It started at one home, and progressed through many different, and fun activities. One of which was the Festival of Lights, then dessert at the Moreno's.

Everyday Randomness

This Christmas I decided (with lots of help from my precious cousin!!!) to try my hand at special sugar cookies. From her advice, I divided the work into days...thus, the first day, I mixed up the cookie dough.

I set the butter out to soften...as you can see I was making LOTS of cookies. Notice in the picture how the butter is lined up? That is not how I left it, but rather, found it. My sweet Aspen found the butter set out, and decided to line it up "like a train Mama!" She was so very proud of herself.

Already climbing the fence ;)

Flash Back...Birthdays!!!!!

Back in November was my McDonald Nephew's Birthday!!! I meant to blog about it then, but realized I didn't get any pictures that day due to my little handfuls... :( I was SO bummed when I realized it, and instantly asked for some pictures from people who had their cameras handy during the boys party. I received a few today, and wanted to share them with you!

Becky & Caleb did a fabulous job decorating, cooking and planning the party. Everything was TOO cute, and had a football/sports theme throughout. Even the chocolate covered strawberries looked like footballs. :) There were new swings at the party, which were THE BIG HIT for Aspen! She hogged the swing way more than she should have....

Eh!! Eh!! (pronounced very staccato like) How Eliana gets ones attention most  the time.

Happy (very belated!!) Birthday Peter & Hudson! We love you both!

And, thank you to all my friends out there who have prayed for these boys! The Lord has worked mightily, and answered so many prayers. We are thankful for these precious blessings!
