Cake time again...

The Lord blest me with another opportunity to do a wedding cake in mid April... Mom McDonald was gracious enough to come help me with the girls for a couple days while I 'knocked' the cake out. Mom Moreno was even able to drop by for a bit too... I'm SO incredibly blest by my Moms! Love you both!!!

For lunch on 'baking day', we had corn dogs... Aspen had never had one before...I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it. 

After lunch, Aspen had fun playing outside in the BEAUTIFUL weather we had.

My tan child...doesn't she have a beautiful complex?! God does good... :) I think if there's anything I could possibly envy about my girls, it's their skin & eyelashes!!!

More tummy time... I LOVE this though. Aspen went and got her 'Aminals' (As she says) and set them up for Eliana to play with...

Then she lined them up SO perfectly!! And wanted to count them...

Worn out...we had put Aspen to bed...turned off the light, etc... Went to close her door and she had turned the light back on, and...notice she put her shoes on...

I promise you...she does it all by herself! Sister doesn't help her, neither does Mommy.

Tummy Time

Eliana is a very strong little girl...since the day she was born she has done a great job holding up her head, and standing. It's crazy. Eliana definitely does her best to keep up with her big sister already.

See how much Eliana moved? She did that on her own. She scoots all over the place already!

Aspen loves her baby sister, and is always close by when Eliana has tummy time.

The Punch Balloon

G'ma & G'pa Emmett - the girls 'adopted' grandparents, gave the girls Easter Baskets. In Aspen's, there were a few Punch Balloons, along with some other super fun stuff. Aspen has LOVED these balloons. Brian got in on the fun with her, and they just had a blast. We all had fun laughing as Aspen ran around squealing...

Towards the end of our playtime, Aspen went and got her 'tags' and put the balloon 'mimi's' (to bed.)

"Chilling" at Home...

Eliana just continues to grow... 

We LOVE our BuMbo! 

The ducks at the pond in our neighborhood had ducklings!! There was one mother duck that had 25 ducklings!! They were SOOOOO cute!

Playing with Coffee

Mom McDonald brought some ground, decaf coffee over to the house one day for me...I didn't drink any, and ended up leaving it on the counter to return to her. Aspen found the little baggie, and enjoyed herself with it... It is now the 'play coffee'... 

I'm sure if any of you have lots of old, ground coffee, my child would love to 'repurpose' it. :)

Cuteness...

I laid Eliana on the couch for a nap one morning, then looked over later and saw Sandie all curled up with her. Sandie got all excited when I got out the camera, and then she came 'uncurled'...

LOVE the little tush in the air!

We put cinder blocks by the gate door so Aspen can't escape any more...they've turned into the perfect little seat for her. She frequently sits there to eat her snack -- with Sandie right with her. Here, Aspen was obviously sharing her banana.

Easter

I might should divide Easter into 2 posts, but we'll see. I really need to get all caught up so I can post just a simple post each day verses having to plan in advance and get all caught up, only to lose track of time and be behind -- again. 

Easter was super special, yet again this year. We started out at church then, went to the McDonald Parent's for lunch, then the Moreno's for Dinner. :) We had wonderful food & fellowship with both families! Thank you to both families for a sweet time and the wonderful food!
