After realizing I really should be working more with Aspen, I found some sensory play ideas online. So, to the pantry I went for rice, vinegar & food coloring. Aspen throughly enjoyed helping me color the rice, and then was thrilled she got to play with it!

The rice was a huge hit, and came at the perfect time. I stored it in a ziploc and poured it into this tub to play with. I took it to Galveston most of October...we made it just before Dad passed away, and proved to be the perfect "new" toy for Aspen to take to and from Nanny's house... It lasted about 3 weeks, then I tossed it....
